COUNTY COUNCIL’S JOKE
Middlesex County Council have set n po.er for costermongers and vendors of plants. Notices exhibited outside police stations contain a warning to these persons that after October I it will be an offence to sell plants or roots attacked by any of the following diseases; — Nectria ditissima, slereum purpureum- eriophyes, ribis,eriosoma lanigerum. fmtsm, coccidae, nygmia, phoeorrhoea dan euproctis, chryssorrhoea, ileptobyiesa stephanitis rhododendri hory. bacillus atrosepticus, suhoerotheca morsuvae, synchytrium endobioticum and urocystis cepuloe.
