Rec Jan 5, morning Sydney, Jan 4 After a Cabinet meeting Mr Dooley said he did not propose to announce the date of the elections until he had delivered his policy speech. Rec Jan 5, 10.50 a.m Sydney, Jan 5 The Caucus adopted a resolution that the elections should take place not later than March 20. Mr McGirr notified the party that he would not be a candidate at the general elections, as he was turning attention to Federal politics.
