The New South Wales Minister for Mines, who has been visiting Broken Hill and Port Pirie stated that he expected Port Pirie smelt ers to resume working in about ten weeks. He added that when in Melbourne he would interview the directors of the Broken Hill mines regarding resumption, as it, was inconceivable that the mines should remain idle.
