♦ PUBLICITY AGENT APPOINTED. As the outcome of communications received by the Department of Internal Affairs'from different countries, asking for information concerning New Zealand, the Government has appointed a publicity a treat under that department. His duties will consist of writing- pamphlets and booklets concerning the Dominion’s scenic attractions and commercial and agricultural prospects. The Hon. G. J. Anderson announced last evening that Mr. H. T. B. Drew, a member of the literary staff of the Evening Post, Wellington, had been appointed to the position. Mr. Drew served m a similar capacity in London in connection with the High Commissioner’s office at the conclusion ol the ■ war.
