SHORT WEIGHT IN COAL

Auckland, Feb. 17. Complaint as to alleged short weight in coal was received by the Auckland Prices Investigation Tribunal yesterday from a country district. ' The complainant asserted that some of the bags of coal he received were onlv half full and he estimated that he was paying about £6 a ton for coal.. The Tribunal referred the matter to the Board of Trade with a recommendation that it be brought before the proper authority.
