Fortunately in January ai.d so far tbis month the supply cf sUnping bad been good and had greatly reduced the stocks of frozen meat and dairy produce in the different freezing stores of tbe Domicion, and he thought, even now, there would he no serious difficulty <*o far ns meat and obeese were concerned. The difficulty would be with regard to wool, fiiix, tallow, and ether commodities, which were very often looked upon as minor matters, but were of considerable importance to the Oorni > nior, ss a whole. He boped the trouble would not last very long, but it was just as well that the public should know for the next six or eight months tbat the sunply of .shipping, especially for the articles he mentioned, would not be >o gocd as it had been since the curnirtsncenierit of the year. Neediest, to say tbe Government would continue to do everything possible to relieve tbe position. *-.
