Enemy Sustains Heavy Losses in

Strypa Area.

Rsc April 11, 9 p.m. Petrograd, April 11

A communique states: —We captured a trench on the Lower Strypa. The enemy delivered fruitless counterattacks and sustained heavy losses.

Our troops in the Caucasus attacked in deep snow, crossing a large number of crevasses in the direction qf Diarbekar. We are closing on the enemy in the region of the Goinukov Valley.

We repulsed several attacks near

Bitlis.

We fought numerous enaggements against large hordes of Kurds, supported by Turkish regulars, south of Lake Urumhi.
