Arthur Hamilton, an American, was arrested on Saturday on a charge of stealing .jewellery value< 1 at £17:} from Peter Straubcrg, a second-hand dealer in Upper Queen Street. The- burglary was committed on October li!th or loth, when the safe was blown open, and the jewellery mid £■(') 10s in cash stolen. Several burglaries have been committed in thct-ity lately and a quantity of the stolen property, including some of Stranbi>rg"s jewdlery, has been. .secured by the detectives.
