BRITISH COVENTANTERS.

London, April 1 Hon. \V. 11. Long. Unionist M.P for Strand, presided at a meeting in London to establish a League of British Covenanters. Lord Roberts was elected President, and on rising to return thanks was cheered for several minutes. Sir E Carson received an ovation. In describing the Ulster volunteers lie said they were very largely trade unionists. Viscount Milacr declared the time was short, but there was still time to raise a storm of protest and compel an appeal to the country.
