CREW RESCUED EXHAUSTED

New Jersey reports state that the steamer Charlemagne Tower sank in tho Atlantic. The captain and crew of seventeen arc adrift in an open overcrowded boat. A heavy sea prevented them landing and the boat drifted oil'again and was lost sight ef in a snowstorm. Revenue cutters arc searching for the boat.
