Tho Sydney swimmers made their second appearance at the Auckland swimming carnival last night. Kesults: Relay race—Miss Fergusson and Hickson 1, Miss White and Gibbons 2.

100 yds championship of AucklandChampion 1, Siuton 2. Durack Handicap—Barris 1, Enwright 2. Gore Gillon Handicap for Ladies— Miss Durack 1, Miss Farquhar 2. Hardwick Handicap—Campbell 1, Paitry2.

Neat Header—Miss Durack I. Visitors' Handicap, 440yds—Hardwick (ser) 1, Champion (scr) 2. Masters and Sintoh also started. Champion and Hardwick were almost even till the last two laps. Hardwick, who had gained perceptibly by his greater cleverness in turning, now forged slowly ahead and won by three yards amid great excitement. Time, 5.05.
