Auckland, January, 16

Mr Dixon, President of the new Arbitration Union at Huntly, accompanied by a number of members of the Union, entered the Coal Miners' Union onice and formally took possession. A number of the Federation Unionists were present at the time, and a collision between the forces occurred. Some of the ex-strikers, who were outnumbered, escaped through the windows.
