ra State Farm was the most suitable site for such a college. He intimated that he intended to establish an Agricultural hoard at an early date comprised of Government nominees, and representatives appointed by the. agricultural societies of both Islands. Until the Hoard was appointed the nite of the college would not be fixed. TUc functions of thy Board would be to advise the Minister of Agriculture on all matters oi importance. In the. past this great industry had not received sufficient attention. He was only able to give two or three hours each week to the business, which was noi enough. It required special Ministerial attention.

Replying to a deputation from the No-License League regarding a reduction of the majority vote. Mr Massey said a Bill was at present under consideration and the Government did not go back on anything it had promised.
