AMERICAN PRESIDENCY.
New York, May 5. President Taft aserts that Mr Roosevelt prevented the prosecution of the Harvester Trust after a director of the Trust, who was a Roosevelt supporter, had pleaded with him not to take action. This, said Mr Taft, would thow the inconsisten y of Mr Roosevelt.
