PERSONAL NOTES.
Mr D. B. Day has returned* from a holiday trip.to Gisborne and Auckland.
Mrs F. W. Poole, of Thames, is spending a holiday in Tauranga with her sister, Mr3 T. H. Hall. ,
Mr W. F. Wallis. Government Valuer, is paying an official visit to Tauranga, and is staying at the Star Hotel.
Mr and Mr3 B. C. Robbing and the Mis?es Robbins arrived hero from Auckland, via Rotorua, en Friday evening.
Captain F. Norris is now enjoying bis annual holiday, and Captain Kennedy is in temporaiy charge of the ketch Victory.
Mr W, Mackie, of Te Aroha, Avhj has secured property interests in'thn district, intends taking up hia residence in Tauranga in August next.
Miss Franklyn, of Nelson, who has been spending a holiday here, left on her return to the South en Friday, accompanied by her sister, Mrs Baigent.
Mr and Mr3 ,C. W. Grove and family, who have been reiding at Mount Maunganui since December last, loft on their return to Rotorua this morning.
Mr Hugh Wallace, who is well known in Tauranga £s the former representative for Messrs L. D. Nathan and Co., is at present paying a visit to this district on behalf of his old firm, and is "looking as .young as ever."
