Mr Alexander inlmußed t-hat it encouraging support were forthcoming; for tlie Club and a site for the shed could be secured, there were several enthusiasts who would assist in the construction of Hie buildiu;_r, free of charge. Before closing the meeting Mr llulme, on behalf of the meeting, extended a hearty welcome to Mr Niven, who, he said, was a. keen boating enthusiast and would assist the. Club by every means in his power. Mr Hulme's remarks were greeted with ucclamal ion. Mr N'iven suitably replied and promised his best assistance to the Club.
