The Chatham Islands Fishing Comtany's steamer Ifimitangi is now twenty-six days out. from the Chathams, being quite a week*overdup. The longest previous trip occupied nineteen days. Later. It has been decided to despatch the steamer Gertie tomorrow night to ascertain if the Himitangi has been rechartered at the Chatham?. The vessel will call at Lyttelton first and will take a zigzag course. The Amokura will probably sail on"a similar errand later.
