Oats.r—The advance reported has been, well held, and if the demand continues there is every probability of vx further upward -movement. The advices from the Sou4.li! are to tlu effect that it is still .very diflicult to get oats from -thy country, as farmers arc disinclined Ux accept present prices ; lx'sklvs, ,most of them are very busy with spring farmwork. The .London market shows no sign of Improvement s but. there, is certainly more demand locally. The nominal quotations remain at £28 lor fine, if proqurable, £20 10s for g-.f.a.q.. £18 ins for f.a.q., and £.1(5 10s for common. Tow. —The quantity sent in for 24 of October is HI ft bales. This is setting readily at an average of £6 for export purposes.
