TE PUKE STOCK SALE.

Qbe New Zealand Loan and Mer cat tile Agency Co., Ltd , held their fortnightly sale in the Te Puke yards on Wedi csdsy. About fcOO head of cattle were submitted, and there w- s a good attendance of buyers, the Vulk of the yarding being quitted at satis factory prices. Aline of nine ste<rs from Mr W. Harrsy made £8 4s, tnd another pen of eight steeis from the same owner brought £8 each. Forward conditioned steers sold at from £6 15s to £7 Ds ; aud 3to 3.V year-old steers from £4 to £5 15s, according to condition. Bulls made £2 7s 6d, i£3 7s Gd, and £3 10s. A nice line oi 34 2-year-old steers irom Mr W. Beid, of Papamoa, change1 * hands at £2 15s. A well-grown pen of 30 yearliug steeis from Mr 0. McGhie sold at £2 2s, and a pen of 1 to ]£ year heifers from the same vendor was knocked down at £2 Is. Mr A. (i. Dirrose submitted 13 2A to 3 year old heifers, to calve in the Spriug, which sold at £5 17s. S<>me good cows were yarded by Mr Mutton, realising £7 los, £7 12s 6d, £7 7s Gd, and £7; sj ringers from otherowuers broughtfrom £4 to£7 15s, according to quality. A Berkshire sow brought £2 12s Gd, tnd weaners of the same breed Bs.
