ROADS AND BRIDGES
A fervent hope was expressed by Mr Masses' rthat the day would come when roads aaidi bridges would never be heard of in the national assembly, and Parliament would bo able to devote the whole of its time to the work of legislation. "How will you get rid of it-?" Mr H. G. Ell,ventured to inquire. "Never until we Igbt rid of the hon. gentleman and a dozen of his friends," was Mr Massey's caustic reply. !
