A telegram received by Mr Herries, j M.P., from the Hon. D. The telegram I stated that all Acclimatisation Socie- , ties that have made application, and can show evidence of a plentiful supply j of game in their districts, are to be recommended for exemption from the , close season provision for one month ' from May 14. p Mr Hall moved— That the season be I opened for one month, giving as a , reason that there was a plentiful supply of game in the Society's district.— I Seconded by Mr M.
