A SYDNEY TRAGEDY.

Sydney, April 19. A tragedy is reported from Willou ghby, near Sydney, the body of an eight-year, old' daughter of a labourer named Philips beiug" found, buried in the bush a short distance from her home where she lived with her parents. There is a wound in the head, and a deep gash in the throat, almost severing the head. The girl was reported missing on Saturday, and the police have been searching for her ever since. The body was discovered through a man gathering flowers noticing that the ground had been recently stirred. As the result of statements made by Mrs Phillips and a servant, the police have detained Phillips, Sensational developments are expected.
