On 3Fonday iast the fccxv Zje&lamd'Loan and. Mercantile Agency, Ltd., in association with Messrs Brown Bros., hold their usual fortnightly stock pale at Te Puke. There was a good yarding of cat/tie and tho^ bulk found purchasers under tho hditfnver at late r|Hn@ valnets. The ftrm iquote : Tluoe-year steers £4 7s 6d to £4 15s ; 2-year steers, £3 7s fid to £4 2s 6d ; yearling steers, £2 to £2 10s ; calves, £1 5s to £1 10s ; store cows, £1 15s to £2 15s. A quarter-acre section in uhe Aruaroa township was sold en boh alf of tlie trustees of C. Doyle's estate, bo Mr McCormick for £11.
