loneon, April 13. A fire broke out aboard the s a. Telamon, 4509 tons' which left Albany on March 21 for London and Liverpool with a full general cargo loaded at all the chief Australian ports. The outbreak occurred in the Indian Ocean, when the vessel was six days' steam from Perim, in the Red Sea, for which port sbe was headed. The outbreak occurred in the No 1 lower hold' which was full of apples. Water was pumped into the hold for three hours, and then steam and Carbonic acid gas were injected. The fire is still smouldering, and the captain recommends tbe discharge of wool from the 'tween decks.
