ENGLISH STUDENT IN TROUBLE
BERLIN, March 13. Payne, an English student at Freiberg, in Saxony, has been sentenced to four monehs 1 imprisonment and fined 850 marks for fighting- a duel and resisting arrest. The affair originated over a quarrel in a cafe with a lieutenant 4n the -army,, who drew bis sword. Payne struck bin*' « D d a duel followed. The- lieutenant was cashiered.
