Tauranga fruitgrowers sent away by hoa.ii last week .nearly TO cases of fruit, in addition to supplies overland to Waihi and Rotorua. The farmers of Tauranga and Te Puke shipped 82 sacks of maize to Auckland for the same period. Exports of fibre and tow were over 41 bales. The Tauranga Sawmilling Company also shipped a quantity of sawn riimi by the two outward vessels.

Very successful services were held at the Methodist Church yesterday in; celebration of the Sunday (School anniversary. The Rev. A. G. Wedderspoon was the special rr^acher, morning and afternoon, and gave most appropriate and acceptable addresses. The evening service was taken by the minister of the church. The musical portion of the servic sf was effectively led by the combined church and Sunday School choirs. Proceedings will -be continued tomrrrow evening, when after the scholars' tea a public meeting will be held in the church, when a varied and interesting programme will be pr3sented.

During the last night or two the launch. Spray, while lying at her mooring below Mr Train's fclip, has been somewhat badly damaged through being run into by- another launch evidently travelling at full «peed. The Spray wast struck on the quarter and her deck *ut> into for about three inches. There are marks of three other blows along the belting. The Boat is (moored well in from the channel, and has been there for the. last three years, so that her whereabouts is well known.
