Mr Mathieson, local manager of the Bank of New Zealand, leaves to-mor-row on a months holiday. He is being relieved by Mr St. George, of Ccromandel. Mr Stanley Adams, third son of Mr J. C. Adams, left #or Auckland on Friday, and leaves Mie capital uity on Wednesday for Varcouvcc, where he purposes residing for some iime. Xi A. Skeates, of the well-known firm of Messrs Skeates Bros., jewellers, of Auckland, Accompanied by Mrs Skeates, arrived by motor-car on Friday morning. The journey to Tauranga was made via Waikato, Rotorua, and Oropi. The car is an S h.p. Darracq and has accommodation f<r four passengers. Mr Skeates found the roads somewhat soft, owing to recent rains, /between Rotctua md Tauranga, >but the cat negotiated the hills without any assistance. During the'f stay \Mr and Mrs Skeates are the guests of Mr and Mrs Smedley, of Welcome Bay.
