ORTvS TWO YEA Ft R. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND, Feb. 25. In the Supreme Court Tom Deans, charged with embezzlement of £97, the property of Geo. Da vies, tailor, of Auckland, pleaded gnilty. He admitted he was a married man and left his wife in Christchurch, without making provision for her, and went to Sydney with another woman, but claimed he only intended taking the latter to her sister. He had received an anonymous letter, stating that Ids wife had left him, and this was the cause of all the trouble. A ceused was sentenced to two years' bard labour.
