A gun canta.inmg -a. discharged Cartridge was lying across Uib DoUy. A STOREKEEPER'S END. (Per Press Association.) AUCKLAND. Feb. 21. i The dead body of C. Gilbert, . a . skrekeeper. was found in a ditch 'beyond Kaukapaka&a. with several stabs on the l«ft arm. In -deceased* pocket a Mood-&'jasned knife was found and a piece of paper inside his < hat bor-p' the following : "Too done s tip "to go any further ; lost coat an-d all contents." |
