A SUGGESTION FOE THE NEW ZEALAND LEGISLATURE.

Mr Walters, a Populist member of the Kansas Legislature, is about to renew his attempt to add the Ten Commandments to the

Statute Book of that State. He . declares that he will introduce a Bill of ten sections, each section being a Commandment, as hen deeply imbued with the notion that the State could be run better on the laws of Moses than upon the present laws. When thii religious eccentric introduced the Bill first, last year, it was laughed at and derisively referred to the Committee oa PubUe Road*, whereupon Mr Walters asserted that the Legislature was past redeeming. He is going to try to redeem it next session.
