A. Danedm resident, who has returned from a visit to the Western Australian gold fields, says:— -"Wher. I left Coolgardie, 'swampers,* as the returning diggers are called, were coming down the road at the rate of seventy-five a day, but there was still a steady stream of new arrivals making their way to the fields.
