Mri Johnsoo, oF Hillpide, acted a« hostess and admirably she fulfilled her pleasant, though Arduous, functions. - Tbe supper, which vr as perfect, was contributed by ladies of the district, and the flowers made tbe room a very bower of loveliness. Tbe music was supplied by Mrs Johnston, who received material assistance from Mrs McDonnell and some of the juveniles. We were pleaded to wel. come many gue&ts from Tauranga. Tbe »un rose to the sound of merry music, and the dancers stepped it unflaggingly long after the lark had carolled nis morning ta-ra-ra-Boom-de-ay. .
