Body fouud. Thames, Sunday. — The body of a man was found on the beach at Tararua at 8 o'clock to-day. The body has been identified as that of Richard Herk, miner, Tararua. Deceased was last seen in Gr/abauistown about 10 o'clock last night, considerably under the influence of drink. An inquest will bo held to-morrow. Exiiniing of bones. Alexandra, Saturday. — Tawhiao's visit toWhatawbatahoehad for its object the exbuining of the bones of all natives who died during the time the King lived here. About 800 bones have been scraped, and will be taken down the river in canoes to the burial ground at Taupiri, where they will be interred on Tuesday. Great preparation! have been made and a large crowd of natives from all parts of the Waikato are expected to take part in the ceremony.
