[ADVT] THE TAURANGA DISEASE
grfi, — A great difference of opinion exists as to the so called Tanranga sheep disease. If I remember rightly, the report of the Government veterinary, Mr McLean, clearly isdkated that debility, consequent on bad Management, had more to do with the mortahty in sheep in the Tauranga distriot than ■■^disease peculiar to the locality. The in - tefiigent use of my specific, as demonstrated by the following testhnonials lately received, prove the correctness of Mr McLean's conclusions and the efficacy of my Anthelmintic. — Your* truly, . v N. A. Lahnbt.
• ■ Mortungside, Tauranga. February 12tb, 1892. Mr V, A. Larney, Hamilton, Waikato.— Dear Sir*,— Owing to the mortality among lambs and hoggets in our district, I resolved to give your Anthelmintic a trial, and for tku purpose purchased 200 lambs, a 100 or wkicfr were badly affected with a kind of dfctemffr and V ere dyinjr at the rate of five per weer, ttie ! other! oo were not so badly affected. The first lot- had to be driven twenty miles to my farm with a dray in attendance, which was well filled with weak lambs by the timo it reached its destination ; three days later I gave the first dose and from that d.y the mortality ceased, I have ■et lost a cingle lamb since. All are now rtrong and healthy with a good growth of ..wool.* "' I have given three doses •as prescribed by your pamphlet. Seeing the success attending this I purchased 50 hoggets that were badly affected, and they are now qiite recovered. — Yours faithfu'ly, (Sgd) D. Lxjndon.
CoHr extract of letter received from Mr R. Seddon, dated 18th January, 1892.— •« T have much pleasure in advising you that twit Auitbelmintio has givon satisfaction Last February the lambs were wasting away with the disease, after the first dose the mortality ceased, and two more dofos made them quite healthy. . This season's lambs ■bowed signs of disease in November, and three doses have thoroughly cured them. Last February when I dosed there was not ft lamb tbat weighed 201 b, they did well daring the winter, and to-day 1 killed one 2-tooUi wether) that weighed 771 b. This peaks well for the Anthelmintdo,"
