ARBOR DAY.
The following circular has been issued by Mr W. Hislop, manager of the Government Experimental Grounds at Whangarei:— ' Will you kindly make it known through your columns, that with a view to encourage the inauguration of Arbor Day, arrangdments have been made to donate from the nursery here a number of forest trees for that purpose, to school committees, or other parties wishing to promote so desirable an O object.
