HE'S AWFULLY NICE TO ME.
O ! never will I forget dear Jack, Though the world may on him frown ; And I know very welt he was not a swell, And would rather be roaming at sea ; i But though they may call him an indolent Turk, He was awfully nice to ma ! Yea ! Jack is my sweetheart, wherever he roams, And when he comes back from the sea, He'll find that I am true to my sailor in blue, For he's awfully nice to me ! Tea, I will be true to thee, dear Jack, In gladness, or sorrow, or pain ; And when the winds waft thy good ship back : I shall meot the, dear lore, again. And the world may say just what it likes, But I shall be true to the ; For if you'd a frown for the world all round, . You were awfuily nice to me ! Yes !
