BAY OF PLENTY JOCKEY CLUB.

A meeting of tße Stewards of the Bay of Plenty Jockey Club was held at the Masonic Hotel on Tuesday afternoon at 4 p.m. Present.— Colonel Dowell, (in the chair) Messrs Cramer-Roberta, T. This race wiH be open to all horses owned bf Settlers (either EuriSpem or Maori) within the Waiiiiapu Riding, Te Puna Road Board District, Matakatia and Borough of Taurangji. Horses/ entered for the Maiden, Hurdles or Qup not to complete in tins race. The dMtaneeisttf be 1^ miles with 9st up. / Prize money amounting to £65 was then allotted to the different /races as- will be seen from the; advertised programme. The following was decided, upon as the definit^n of a hack : — Any horse that has not be^m enterefl if or a Weight for Age, Handicap, or Steeplechase race. .t ; Thoconftider&tloii of the various matters occupied the Stewarcli until nearly six o'clock, when the meeting terminated.
