Tbe Daily Chronicle states that an attempt has been made on tbe life of the Czar, which was psrtially successful. It is not known whether he was poisoned or wounded. His Majesty is now suffering from fainting fits. , London, April 6. Stanley is expected to reach England on April 26. . Stanley thinks Emm Pasha was ungrateful in departing to Central Africa without returning thanks fpr what Stanley done for him. It is stated the Khedive expressed disgust at Emia leaving Zanzibar. The English press are indignant at Emm Pasha's behaviour. The Union Co.'s new steamer Kotokino haß been launched at Dumbarton. London, April 7. The elder Davis, sentenced to death for the Crewe murder, was hanged to-day. Three thousand telegrams were received yesterday by the Home Office praying for a reprieve. News has been received that a rich citizen of Morocco has murdered sixteen mistresses. Beblin, April 5. A pamphlet published in Berlin asserts that the Emperor and DeCapriri are members of the Secret League of Patriots formed to unite the LiberalJ Opposition and Socialists. Bismarck was ' dismissed because he taught the Kaiser everything he wanted to know. The authorship of the pamphlet is ascribed to Emperor William himself. % \
