TE KOOTI'S MOVEMENTS. HE INSISTS ON GOING TO POVERTY BAT.

What with the Native Land Court and the approaching visit of Te Kooti we are all in great excitement here just now. ; Te Kooti and followers, the latter of whom are daily increasing in number, lletf t Whakatane on Tuesday f or Waimana, thence to Opotiki. Before leaving he was interviewed officially by Mrßuah,R.M., who requested him to return, and not visit Poverty Bay, but all to no purpose. He says he has long promised to visit his friends and relatives there, and he fully intends going despite all opposition. Mr Bush and Inspector Goodall arrived here yesterday morning, and will remain until Te Kooti has passed through, which will probably! be tomorrow. .
