CORRESPONDENCE.
♦ GOOD ADVICE. ID THBBDITOB. Sir, — I hear there is anive on foot amongst a few who would not be satisfied with anything to publish a second journal. As a bu*inpss man I hope such a thing will not be countenanced. I know how heavily it came on me before EUDporting three papers, «nd I felt thankful when there was only one left. You have made the Times an excellent papor, and in the : interest of the district it rhould be supported by everyone. Those who, like myself, are in business, must know that it means more expeneas when 'business is too dull to afford it. Setitlen and business people alike owe , you their beit wishes and help for the , way in which you have used your paper to promote their interests, and you have given everybody fair play.— 1 am, &c, Stband.
