Mails Close at Post Office, Tauranga, for the following places — For Auckland (by steamer) Wednesdays, at 9.30 a.m., and Saturdays, at 5.30 p.m. For Auckland (via Thames) every Tuesday, at 7.30 p.m. For Whakatane and Opotiki (by steamer) as opportunity offers. For Te Puke, Maketu, Matata; ; TOakatane, Ohiwa, Waiotahi, Opotiki, Awahou, Rotoiti, Rotorua, and Taupo, every Tuesday and Saturday, at 8:30 a.m. For Maketu, by steamer as opportunity offers. For Aongatete, Katikati, TVaihi, Owbaroa, Mackaytown, Paeroa, Kirikiri,' and Thames, Tuesdays and Fridays, at 7.30 p.m. For Thames (via Auckland), every Saturday, at3.#fp.in\ v *■ * ■■' For Money Orders and Registered - Letters, half -an-hour previous to time of closing mail. Mails Abbivb at Post Office, Tauranga, from the following places— -t • From Auckland, (by steamer) Tuesdays and Saturdays. From Auckland, (via Thames) every Monday and' Thursday, at 7.30 p.m. From Whakatane and Opotiki, (by steamer) every Tuesday. From Te Puke, Rotoiti, Maketu , and Rotorua, Tuesdays and Saturdays, 3.30 p.m. From Taupo, Matata, Whakatane, Ohiwa, 5 Waiotahi, and Opotiki, (overland) Tuesdays and Saturdays, at 3.30 p.m. From Maketn, by steamer as opportunity offers. < From Aongatete, Katikati, Waihi, Owharoa, j Mackaytown, Paeroa, Kirikiri, and Thames, Mondays and Thursdays, 7.30 p.m. From Thames (via Auckland) every Saturday. p^A. postal delivery within the town boundary takes place twice daily. The postman will start from the Post Office, Tauranga! at 9.30 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. each day. Receiving Boxes are cleared daily — at Mr Orabbe's store. Quarter Acres, at $ a.m. and 3 p.m., and G. Gardiner's store, "Strand, at 9.15 a.m. and 3.15 p.m. The following are licensed to sell stamps :— C. G. Carter, Strand, John Maxwell, Strand, and G. A. Crabbe, Cameron Road. J. H.
