Monday. ;' About two o'clock on Sunday morning a fire occured at Captain Hargraye's house, Franklra Iload, which with Wo other houses was completely destroyed. The steamer Waitaki collided with the. Doric on Friday evening, doing gome damage. The Waitaki proceeded to Whangarei. It is not yet known what injury she sustained. > The meetings held by tho Anglican Miasioners continue to be well attended. Applications for extra bars were to-day refused by the North Ward Licensing Committee.
