No friendly eye : Only his enemy, He saw him die. c Who caught his blood ? I said Khartoum. My bosom's his tomb, I caught his blood. Who made his shroud ?: Spurned by the crowd, . None made his shroud— - Honor's his shroud. . Who'll be chief mourner ? I, said Saint George— Champion of-England— - I'll be chief mourner. Who'll be the parson ? I, said Hypocrisy, With "exub'rant verbosity," I'll be the parson. Who'll dig his grave ? ; I, said the slave, He died me to save, I'll dig his grave. Who carried him to hie grave ? So noble, so brave ; Deserted, betrayed, None carried him to his grave. Who'll sing a psalm ? I, replied Fame (Grizmon'd with shame). I'll ting a psalm. * Who'll toll the bell?
