Wednesday. The Choral Society's first orchestral concert of the season was given last night and was a great success. There was a crowded attendance! Matthew Callaghan died yesterday suddenly in a street near Goldie'i mill. The supposod cause is heartdisease. , -.-•-,.-:..•<., Sheep are arriving in great numbers from Waikato to the Freezing Co., Auckland. , A contract has been entered into for making in Auckland a half-million, rounds of ammunition. y There is no further word of the Macgregor.
