AUCKLAND
"Wednesday. Mr Batyer, Auckland, has received the following cablegram, dated June 9: — "Doric; arrived at TTobart on Saturday. One fatal case of smallpox 30 days ago. Another case recovering. Measles and chicken-pox now on board." Captain Lillewall committed suicide by - shooting himself last night at Devonport, in the open road opposite Jris mother's house. The Australia left San Francisco on the 7th inst.— timetable date. A movement is on foot to amalgamate the Auckland and Onehunga Harbour Boards.
