FORMATION OF THE THE PUKE ROAD.

The repeated efforts which have been made to have the Armed Constabulary employed on the formation of the Te Puke Road have at last bean successful, and the body of men now employed on Mr Jonathan Brown's property are to take up their quarters in a or two in the centre of the block. It is not at present known in what direction the men will work, but in all probability it will be towards the Hairini ford. The immediate commencement of the Hairini Bridge is a matter that should be urged on the Government at once, so;that;no delay shall arise after the formation..of the. road is completed, "
