SPECIAL MEETING OF THE TOWN BOABD. Ak extraordinary meeting of the Town Board was asm ax the Secrewfjf'a office on Monday last. Present: Captain Tunka (chairman), Mr Norris, and Mr Conway. TENDERS. A letter received from Mr Firth Wrigley, requesting permission to erect two poaU for horses outside hi# store, was then read. The Secretary was instructed to write to his Honor the Superintendent enclosing ail correspondence upon this subject, at the same time that the Board would further communicate with his Honor after the next full meeting of the Board. FINANCIAL. Hr Norris brought before the notice of the Board the desirability of keeping a bank account atTauranga, JJ* Norria Proposed, and Mr Conway seconded, * That the Treasurer be requested to pay in to the credit of the Board at the Bank of New Zealand, Taaranga, all monies in his possession the property of the Board, and that for the future all sums received by the Board pass through the branch Bank of New Zealand at Tanranga In due course. ** This concluded the business.
