Corresponden.ee relating t> mini: tea of p-evious meeting was read and approved. A letter from the Treasurer, dntain Norriw, resigning his office as treasurer, was r-nd, and the resignation accepted. Mr, Wrigley was elected Treasurer in his place. A resolution was passed, " That the district constable be instructed to destroy nil pi'sjs and goats found straying at large, the owners of which could not be found, or who refused to ovvn such. The Board to take on themselves the responsibility of his so doing. The Secetary was instructed to ventes to the auditors requesting them to audit, accounts previous io handing thern over to the new Treasurer. A letter was read from Mr. E. M . J. P.. referring to the dangerous Mate of the C.xrn< ;i row Bond near Mr. Darby's. —It was resolved that Mr. .Burrows (Engineer to the Board) be requested to view the read and report thereon ; receipt of the letter _to be acknowledged. It was decided, that Mr. Burrows bo requested to make out an eat i mate of the probable cost' of making a road from the beach- along Devonport lloau, as fc as Captain Tunks's corner. It was ordered that the assessment roll notice be advertised three times in th<? local piper. A letter was read from Mr. R. C Jordan, offering to fill in the large hole in Hamilton street. An account for 15-, for advertising roP of 1871-72 in the iN T r« Zealand Herald, was ordered to be paid, after which the Board adjourned.
