The Tokoiti aHall was lorowded last Friday night, lat the valediotory sooial tendered to Miss Green, schoolteacher at Tokoiti School for several years past 1 on the eve of her transference to Ravensbourne Sohool. Mr Allen responded on the recipient's behalf. A social evening waß spent in musio and dancing. Miss Green was also the recipient of gifts from the soholars during the after noon—the gifts comprising a handsome band-bag and a silver-backed hand mirror.
