The annual oongreg ttion.al maeting of Toko. Presbyterian Churoh, held last night, was but sparsely attended: Mr W. Roy presided. ' After devotional exercises, Mr G. An improvement was also desirable in the contributions to the Snstentation FuniV The church was faced with the necessity for finding increased accommodation for the Sunday Bchool scholars, and plans for enlarging the present building were under consideration. The speaker concluded by paying a tribute to the work of Miss Henderson in teaching . the Sunday School at Moneymore. The treasurer, Mr G. H. Thomson, commented rn various items in the balance sheet-. There were large sums expended on Sunday School supplies, which should bo non-recurring for a few years. He urged tho advisability of tho different societies forwarding their oon tributions to missionp, etc., through the goneral treasurer, in order that a complete statistical record could ■ be kept of the church's activities. The contributions to missions had been well maintained, and, excluding the special grant of i! 100 in the estate of the late Mr John Farjanr., showed an advance of X-16 on the previous year. The ronovation and debt extinction fund showed a debit balance of but against this thera wero Daymen's into the Bruca Bui'ding Society. The congregational account started tho year with a debit balance of JGI6, and ended with a credit balance cf £5 17s 7d ; tho sum cf £4O had been transferred from the congregational account to the renovation and debt extinction fund, and the defijit on the " Home Messenger " account (JG11) had been pqiared off. Mr A. E. Stewart congratulated the treasurer on his clear and lucid balance sheet. Although without a settled minister, the reports and balance t-hoet showed an improvement in all tranches of the churoh's activities as compared with pre-war yeara. Tho report and balance ehoot were adopted, Mr.James Gray read a letter from the church's own missionary in the Canton Village Mission (Rev. Andrew Mi'lcr) in which the writer notified his approaching marriage,— It was drcideu to exiend congratulations to Mr Mi'ler, a<d alao Lrward a wedding present. Tt waq decided to forward a letter to Mr James AnJerson expressing appreciation of his Bervice3 as lay-reader ati the outnta'jions.
